Executive Assistant (Temporary Appointment)

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    provide administrative support for the planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities, including large-scale award ceremonies, symposia, professional talks, workshops, visits and other major events;

(b)    assist in liaising with internal departments and external parties, including VIPs, supporting organisations, awarding companies, service providers, PR agencies, production houses and other stakeholders for projects and large-scale award ceremonies;

(c)    provide support in developing promotional strategies and building partnerships with collaborators, supporting organisations and other stakeholders for project initiatives;

(d)    assist in the development and production of publicity materials, including invitations, tender specifications, press releases, videos, reports, posters, pamphlets, newsletters and other related materials;

(e)    create, maintain and update content on project websites and social media platforms such as Facebook;

(f)     provide support for the administration of the Research Centre Office; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have:

(a)    a recognised degree in Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Mass Communications or a related discipline;

(b)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(c)    good communication, interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills; and

(d)    a strong sense of responsibility and be a good team player.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
