Research Associate / Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Discrimination and self-branding on online language tutoring platforms: An Applied Linguistics approach”. He/She will be required to:
(a) collect data through surveys and interviews;
(b) conduct mixed-method data analysis;
(c) coordinate with project team members and external partners; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegate(s).
Qualifications
Applicants should have a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Media Studies, Tourism Studies or a related discipline.
Preference will be given to those with:
(a) experience in conducting research; and
(b) high proficiency in English, Putonghua, and/or Cantonese.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rates for the posts of Research Associate and Research Assistant are HK$181 per hour and HK$125 per hour respectively.
