Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Development of polymeric nano-formulation for pro-healing and metabolic regulation of diabetic wound”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct experiments and performance assessments related to nanomaterials, porous gels, polymers or composites;
(b) assist in data collection, analysis and preparation of research reports and publication of relevant high-quality articles;
(c) support daily laboratory operations related to the project; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Dean of School or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in Textile Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Textile Technology or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) proven hands-on experience in the synthesis and characterisation of nanomaterials, porous gel materials, polymer materials, and their composites;
(c) excellent communication skills;
(d) the ability to work effectively in a team;
(e) strong motivation with a proactive attitude; and
(f) commitment to achieving research excellence.
Preference will be given to those with a publication record in related fields.
