Research Assistant

[Appointment period: six to twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Health support project for persons with disabilities”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in project implementation, including preparation of project materials, literature review, data collection, data entry and analysis as well as report writing; and
(b) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or above in Health Science, Social Science or other related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;
(c) have good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills;
(d) have a strong sense of responsibility; and
(e) be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preference will be given to those with working experience in data collection, qualitative and quantitative data analysis as well as other research supporting work.
