Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “General research in AI-based image/video restoration and enhancement”. They will be required to:
(a) perform research in AI-based visual restoration, enhancement, understanding and reasoning;
(b) write high-quality papers and publish in top-tier conferences and journals; and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Research Fellow post should have a PhD degree in Computer Science or an IT-related discipline plus at least three years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent qualifications and experience.
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a PhD degree in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a MPhil degree in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment(s), a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment(s), the remuneration rate for the post of Research Assistant is HK$125 per hour.
