Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    assist the Vice President (Knowledge Transfer) [VP(KT)] in driving the University’s knowledge transfer initiative and strategies;

(b)    oversee financial planning and budgeting for various knowledge transfer initiatives;

(c)    provide secretarial service to committees, project/working groups, and/or task forces as assigned by VP(KT) or his delegates;

(d)    develop comprehensive reports and conduct analysis of knowledge transfer performance;

(e)    liaise and coordinate with offices/units under VP(KT) as well as external organisations;

(f)     assist VP(KT) in the coordination of various engagements and initiatives locally as well as the Chinese Mainland and overseas; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by VP(KT) or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)    have a recognised degree; 

(b)    have at least eight years of solid and relevant post-qualification administrative experience at supervisory level, preferably with some years of experience gained in sizable organisations or tertiary institutions;

(c)    have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer literacy;

(d)    have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua;

(e)    be meticulous and have good analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills; and

(f)     be pleasant, proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
