Finance Manager (Treasury Section)

Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) collaborate, gather and document detailed business requirements including processes, workflows and internal controls in the day-to-day operation of treasury and investment functions;
(b) develop internal policies, guidelines and procedures in relation to treasury and investment functions with appropriate compliance and risk management;
(c) formulate and execute an implementation plan to streamline relevant processes and systems for improving operational efficiency;
(d) design and prepare relevant documents including reports, manuals and forms in relation to the implementation or changes of work processes or systems;
(e) stay current with technological development and identify opportunities for process revamp or automation taking into account of professional and industry requirements;
(f) lead, mentor, supervise and develop subordinates;
(g) lead and support treasury-related projects by managing tender processes, preparing system specifications and coordinating supplier onboarding, while maintaining strong engagement with both internal and external stakeholders; and
(h) perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Information Systems and related disciplines;
(b) passed Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst examination or equivalent;
(c) at least five years of post-qualification professional and supervisory experience in project management, financial system development and support or other related fields with a good understanding of treasury and investment;
(d) a proactive attitude and ability to work independently and/or under pressure in meeting tight schedules with perseverance and good organisational skills;
(e) the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and consistently initiates creative solutions that advance continuous improvement goals;
(f) strong communication and interpersonal skills;
(g) sound computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word, with sound knowledge of Treasury Management systems is preferred; and
(h) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Applicants with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Finance Manager.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
