Project Technical Assistant / Project Administrative Assistant (Full-time/Half-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “Making better decisions for long-term healthcare - conceptualizing financial health literacy (FHL) from laypeople’s perspectives and formulating an instrument for FHL”. They will be required to:
(a) assist in research tasks involved in the project;
(b) assist in coordinating support and logistics arrangement for the partner institutions overseas and locally;
(c) assist in organising activities in the training system, including dancing, physical exercise and cognitive training;
(d) support participants in the online or on-site activities in the training system;
(e) support the execution of the activities;
(f) assist in the recruitment of participants and publicity by using social media;
(g) liaise with collaborators and project team members;
(h) assist in data entry; and
(i) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
The appointees may be required to work on irregular hours including evenings and Saturdays.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Project Technical Assistant post should have a higher diploma or a diploma or an equivalent qualification in Epidemiology, Statistics, Nursing, Psychology or other health-related disciplines with at least three years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
Applicants for the Project Administrative Assistant post should have five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/“Attained” in Applied Learning subjects/Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics.
Applicants should also have:
(a) experience in conducting community projects;
(b) proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Chinese word processing;
(c) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese and Putonghua; and
(d) good interpersonal and communication skills.

Conditions of Service
For full-time and half-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rates are HK$120 per hour for the post of Project Technical Assistant and HK$100 per hour for the post of Project Administrative Assistant.
