Global Engagement Officer (Institutional Relations)

Duties

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    provide support and execute projects and activities in relation to institutional relations, partnerships and educational networks;

(b)    maintain the central repository of records on memorandum of understanding/agreement and other documents;

(c)    work closely with internal units in managing inventory system;

(d)    assist in supporting and advancing overseas network initiatives;

(e)    develop digital promotional materials, including website maintenance, marketing emails, and infographics; 

(f)    maintain solid and constructive relationships between stakeholders at the University and overseas institutional partners; 

(g)    provide support in organising delegation visits and activities to promote the University; and

(h)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Global Engagement or his/her delegates.

The appointee may occasionally be required to work beyond normal office hours.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    a recognised degree with at least three years of working experience;

(b)    a commitment to provide excellent customer service; 

(c)    good computer literacy;

(d)    demonstrated record of being detail-minded, flexible and attentive to accuracy; and

(e)    a good command of both written and spoken English and be proficient in handling independent correspondence in a professional manner.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. 

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
