Part-time Research Assistant

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with the possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “PolyU and Sino Faith Joint Lab (CORE Lab)”. He/She will be required to:
(a) collect, organise and manage research-related data and materials.;
(b) conduct basic data analysis and support the documentation of research findings;
(c) assist in literature review and background research;
(d) support the planning, coordination and execution of project-related activities, workshops and events;
(e) liaise with internal and external stakeholders for project coordination;
(f) assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and project deliverables;
(g) provide general administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth project operation; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work on flexible hours and travel occasionally outside Hong Kong.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree or above in Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, Project Management or related disciplines;
(b) proven experience in organising, coordinating or supporting events and exhibitions;
(c) strong written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English; and
(d) good teamwork spirit, a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
Preference will be given to those with project management experience or experience in large-scale exhibition or event coordination.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
