Project Associate

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Support for the work associated with knowledge transfer initiatives”. He/She will be required to:
(a) coordinate and support a broad range of knowledge transfer initiatives, including but not limited to entrepreneurship development, commercialisation and intellectual property management;
(b) monitor workflow and progress of tasks, follow up on outstanding tasks, ensure compliance and maintain proper administrative control and documentation;
(c) enhance the impact of knowledge transfer initiatives by optimising outreach and engagement through various publicity channels and events as well as collecting evidence of their impact;
(d) liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective implementation of knowledge transfer initiatives;
(e) assist in the preparation of analyses, reports and presentations;
(f) provide administrative support to teams and meetings; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
The appointee may be required to work beyond or outside normal office hours.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or a good honours degree with three or more years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in tertiary institutions;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(c) have good communication, coordination, problem-solving and time management skills; and
(d) be a good team player.
