Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to matters related to student services, with a focus on class/examination timetabling, as well as assessment results processing and graduation requirements;
(b) render support in the operations of all centralised examinations;
(c) assist in system development and maintenance by conducting system testing, providing end-user training and supporting the drafting of user guides, compiling general statistical reports as well as managing filing and documentation;
(d) handle written and verbal enquiries;
(e) liaise with internal and external parties;
(f) carry out general office administrative duties; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Registrar or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree, preferably with at least one year of working experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(c) have proficiency in computer applications including MS Word and Excel, preferably with knowledge in Access and IT skills;
(d) be meticulous and attentive to details;
(e) have good problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills;
(f) be a good team player; and
(g) have a proactive attitude and a mentality of embracing changes and new technologies.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
