(2) Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)
[Appointment period: each for twelve months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Advanced cross-domain spatio-temporal analytics for urban data”. They will be required to:
(a) write code and conduct research on Large-Language-Model-based, privacy-preserving and tree-based spatio-temporal data analytics; and
(b) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification.
For all posts, applicants should also have (i) knowledge in data mining, deep learning and urban computing; and (ii) good communication skills.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment(s), a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment(s), the remuneration rate for the post of Research Assistant is HK$125 per hour.
