Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research projects - (1) “Local tweaks for privacy-preserving training in machine learning at scale”, (2) “Right to be forgotten made easy: machine unlearning, differential privacy and beyond”, (3) “Research centre for privacy and security technologies in future smart systems”, (4) “面向智能算力网数据分析的安全与隐私保护关键技术研究”, (5) “Privacy-preserving multimodal data management: a database perspective”, (6) “Personalized privacy-preserving prompt service for large generative AI models”, and (7) “Federated graph management and querying: subgraphs, keywords and privacy”.
Qualifications
For the post of Postdoctoral Fellow, applicants should have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
For the post of Research Associate, applicants should have a master’s degree or a good honours degree with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
For the post of Research Assistant, applicants should have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rates are HK$385 per hour for the post of Postdoctoral Fellow, HK$181 per hour for the post of Research Associate and HK$125 per hour for the post of Research Assistant.
