Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “Wearable thermoelectric fiber device”.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have rich experience in assembling, testing and characterizing functional fibers;
(c) have hands-on experience in developing textile-based multifunctional wearable sensing devices and human-computer interaction systems; and
(d) be able to fabricate multi-material and multi-functional magnetic fibers to construct a fiber-based actuating system for a wearable thermoelectric system.
