Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Towards efficient large model training via learning from small model”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct research on knowledge distillation and transfer learning from small models to improve the efficiency of large model training;
(b) assist in general management of the project; and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in Programming or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) experience in large model training, knowledge distillation or efficient deep learning algorithm development, foundation model implementation and optimisation; and
(c) good communication skills in English.
