Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Digital mental health interventions for people affected by mental health challenges and their family carers”. The research group has rich experience in relevant fields and aims at achieving impactful deliverables and publishing high-quality papers in top journals and conferences. The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in the general management of the project;
(b) prepare project materials;
(c) assist in data management and data analysis;
(d) assist in the facilitation of public, patient, and carer involvement and engagement in research;
(e) assist in the preparation of reports and presentation materials;
(f) liaise with various collaborators to facilitate the progression and management of the project;
(g) write protocols/proposals and papers, and conduct evidence reviews for the project; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School, the project leader or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a PhD or a doctoral degree, preferably in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Psychology, Health Informatics or other related disciplines or equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have some relevant research experience;
(c) have experience in writing research papers and proposals;
(d) have proficiency in SPSS/R/Python, Excel, EndNote, NVivo and other Microsoft Office software, or web design/development including Chinese word processing;
(e) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English;
(f) have a strong enthusiasm in research and a good sense of self-motivation;
(g) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(h) be responsible and able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$385 per hour.
