Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) engage in teaching Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations and Quality Management related subjects and undertake related pedagogical activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
(b) contribute to programme/curriculum design, development and administration, and engage actively in scholarly activities;
(c) provide support for academic and departmental affairs; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of the Unit or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in a relevant discipline plus not less than three years of post-qualification tertiary teaching experience;
(b) good subject knowledge, skills and competence in the appropriate academic or professional discipline;
(c) strong commitment to excellence in teaching; and
(d) an excellent command of English and good communication skills.
Preference will be given to those with relevant teaching experience in tertiary institutions.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
