Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Sexual functioning and its influencing factors among colorectal cancer patients with stoma in Hong Kong: A mixed method study”. The research group has rich experience in relevant fields and aims at achieving impactful deliverables and publishing high-quality papers in top journals and conferences. The appointee will be required to:
(a) assist in the general management of the project;
(b) prepare project materials;
(c) assist in the recruitment of participants and data collection for the study;
(d) assist in data management and data analysis;
(e) assist in the preparation of reports and presentation materials;
(f) liaise with various collaborators to facilitate the progression and management of the project;
(g) prepare protocols, manuals and literature review for the project; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of School, the project leader or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree, preferably in Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Chinese Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science or other related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have proficiency in SPSS/R/Python, EndNote and Microsoft Office software, or web/chatbot design/development skills;
(c) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;
(d) have good organisational and communication skills; and
(e) be able to work independently.
