Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “The effect of hearing rehabilitation interventions on hearing and brain health in older adults with hearing loss”. He/She will be required to:
(a) work at the collaborative institute Community CareAge Foundation (CCAF)’s nursing stations to support on-site data collection, including both quantitative and qualitative data;
(b) coordinate recruitment of patients, screening, health assessment and follow up;
(c) support the CCAF team with project-related matters;
(d) draft progress and final reports; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Nursing, Computer Science, Statistics, Social Sciences or other health-related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) experience in coordinating community projects;
(c) proficiency in SPSS and Microsoft Office software including Chinese word processing;
(d) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese; and
(e) good interpersonal and communication skills.
