Research Assistant

[Appointment period: six months initially, with possibility of further appointment]
Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “CultureCraft: scenario-based learning with conversational AI agents to enhance intercultural communication competence”. He/She will be required to:
(a) design and develop the frontend software component using Godot or other game engines based on the backend APIs;
(b) assist in the preparation of relevant reports and presentation materials; and
(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) an honours degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related disciplines;
(b) experience in game development;
(c) good software documentation writing skills in English; and
(d) good interpersonal and communication skills.
Preference will be given to those with experience in working on projects using Godot game engine and GDScript.
