[Appointment period: each for three months]
Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “Investigation of electroacupuncture as paramedicine to alleviate cognitive impairment in depression: a pre-clinical study” and will play a key role in conducting experiment, analysing research data and writing up the research findings.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in Biology, Biomedical Science, Medical Science or other related disciplines or a good honours degree in one of the said disciplines with at least three years of research/relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in one of the above-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also:
(a) have a background in data analysis/statistic;
(b) have knowledge of systematic review;
(c) have a good command of written English;
(d) be self-motivated, well-organised, and able to work independently; and
(e) be a good team player.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rates are HK$181 for the post of Research Associate and HK$125 per hour for the post of Research Assistant.
