Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (several posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Native and non-native tone perception by bilinguals of learning Cantonese as a second language”. They will be required to:
(a) recruit human participants that meet the inclusionary and exclusionary criteria;
(b) administer the tasks to the participants;
(c) analyse the data and carry out statistical analysis under the supervision of the project leader; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a Master’s degree or an honours degree in Cognitive Psychology, e.g., Linguistics, Psychology, Sociology, Biology, or a related field;
(b) preferably have training in phonetics and neurolinguistics; and
(c) preferably be familiar with EEG.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
