Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “A theory-based sleep hygiene education for insomnia disorder - A non-inferiority randomized controlled trial with mixed-method process evaluation and cost-effectiveness analysis”. He/She will be required to:
(a) write research papers, reports and proposals (manuscript writing);
(b) provide overall coordination and assist in the general management of the project;
(c) conduct systematic literature reviews and synthesis;
(d) actively participate in and lead the recruitment of participants, data collection and analysis;
(e) liaise with participants and staff to facilitate study progression and management;
(f) conduct assessment with patients; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree in Science, Psychology, Social Sciences, Arts or other healthcare-related disciplines or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have extensive experience in conducting research;
(c) have good computer literacy, including MS Excel and Chinese word processing;
(d) have experience in writing research papers and proposals;
(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;
(f) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(g) be responsible and able to work independently.
