Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    develop and implement marketing, branding and communication strategies to enhance the Faculty’s reputation and visibility in public, including managing social media platforms to engage students, external partners and other stakeholders; 

(b)    create engaging promotional multimedia content that highlights the Faculty’s strengths, researchers, and programme achievements for local and international audiences;

(c)    collaborate flexibly with research, programme administration and marketing/event teams to ensure messaging aligns with academic goals and support student recruitment efforts;

(d)    assist with logistics and promotions for academic and branding events, and support student recruitment initiatives to strengthen connections and outreach;

(e)    provide professional administrative support to academic programmes at various levels;

(f)     provide secretarial support to committees and working groups for programmes and teaching-related issues; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    a recognised degree with at least five years of solid administrative and supervisory experience;

(b)    a creative mindset coupled with good knowledge of marketing and programme administration;

(c)    the ability to plan, organise and execute projects and digital engagement initiatives;

(d)    an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(e)    excellent computer literacy;

(f)     strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills; and

(g)    high self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Applicants with less supervisory experience may be considered for appointment at a lower level.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
