Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Exploring healthy ageing issues and the lived experiences of working in late life: A community-based participatory research with older disadvantaged workers in Hong Kong”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in research activities;
(b) conduct interviews and transcribing interviews into English;
(c) assist in data analysis, and dissemination;
(d) lead and facilitate training sessions; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree, preferably in Social Work, Education or other social sciences related disciplines or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have experience and/or great interest in social work education and training, as well as group work and community development;
(c) have experience and/or great interest in working with older people; and
(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
