Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “An empathetic navigation system design based on drivers’ emotion inference from traffic contextual data”.
Qualifications
Applicant for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should:
(a) have a doctoral degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have research experience in path planning;
(c) be proficient in the CARLA driving simulation platform and using various map application programming interfaces;
(d) possess strong programming skills in Python, Java and other languages; and
(e) demonstrate solid capabilities in system and software development and simulation testing.
Applicant for the Research Assistant post should have:
(a) an honours degree or an equivalent qualification;
(b) hands-on experience in conducting experiments, data collection, and/or data processing and analysis or strong programming skill; and
(c) the ability to assist in system and software development.
