Research Associate / Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Investigation on Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) in Hong Kong’s primary and secondary school classrooms and its impact on student health and learning performance”. He/She will be required to work on research projects focused on Indoor Environmental Quality and energy consumption in Hong Kong’s primary and secondary school classrooms, examining their impact on student health and learning performance.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a doctoral degree or a master’s degree in Engineering or Science, or an equivalent qualification with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have an honours degree in Engineering or Science, or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should also have:
(a) experience in field measurements of IEQ, energy simulations and machine learning modelling;
(b) strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research independently; and
(c) proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Cantonese.
