Assistant Officer

Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) supervise clerical and support staff to ensure smooth operation of the Faculty’s General Office;
(b) provide support to academic programmes, including student admissions, class time-tabling, subject enrolment, assessment and other programme related matters;
(c) provide student support services;
(d) provide logistical support to meetings and committees;
(e) assist in office management;
(f) compile statistical reports and maintain database;
(g) assist in organising Faculty’s events; and
(h) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) be proactive and self-motivated with good interpersonal, communication and time management skills;
(d) be well-organised and attentive to details; and
(e) be able to work independently.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
