Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to undergraduate / postgraduate programmes, including admission, subject registration, class timetabling, examination, coordination of servicing subjects, student liaison and professional accreditation;
(b) provide support to student care, including handling cases involving students with special educational needs (SEN) or other special circumstances;
(c) coordinate the study tours for the Global Study subject and the related reimbursement matter;
(d) administer the signing of MOUs / agreements for academic programmes;
(e) coordinate the Work-Integrated Education exercise, including summer training and internship;
(f) liaise and coordinate with the Student Society, Alumni Association and Research Scholars Alumni Association of the Department;
(g) provide secretarial support to various departmental committees and working groups;
(h) supervise and lead junior staff members in the General Office; and
(i) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree plus at least five years of relevant experience at executive level;
(b) have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua;
(c) have high self-motivation, strong problem-solving and coordination skills;
(d) be familiar with programme administration and management;
(e) be mature, detail-oriented and able to work independently and under pressure; and
(f) be a good team player.
Preference will be given to those with relevant experience gained in tertiary institutions and with knowledge of the education sector of Hong Kong.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
