Nurse (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Normal birth: perceptions of women, partners, midwives and obstetricians in Hong Kong”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the general management of the project;
(b) implement the data collection instruments and analysis (both quantitative and qualitative);
(c) conduct literature search;
(d) provide nursing care to participants;
(e) assist in the preparation of abstracts, manuscripts and reports; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Nursing or other related disciplines;
(b) have a Certificate of Registration (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by The Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
(c) have at least five years of relevant working experience;
(d) have research knowledge of and skills in conducting qualitative and quantitative studies;
(e) have knowledge of using Microsoft Office and statistical computer software such as SPSS;
(f) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(g) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(h) be able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$210 per hour.
