Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Promotion of healthy ageing in the community”. He/She will be required to:
(a) write reports, papers and proposals;
(b) provide overall coordination and assist in the general management of the project;
(c) assist in systematic search and review of the literature;
(d) actively participate in and lead the recruitment of participants, data collection and analysis;
(e) liaise with participants and staff to facilitate study progression and management; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree in Psychology, Nursing, Social Sciences, Public Health or other related disciplines or equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have extensive experience in conducting research;
(c) have good computer literacy including MS Excel and Chinese word processing;
(d) have experience in writing research papers and proposals;
(e) have a good command of both written and spoken English;
(f) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and
(g) be responsible and able to work independently.
