Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate / Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a strong interest in marine ecology, food waste upcycling and 3D printing applications. The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “Environment and conservation fund 3D-printed artificial reefs from oyster shell waste for coral restoration: Technology demonstration and community education”.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow post should have a PhD degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Food Science, Materials Science, Analytical Chemistry, Biology or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application.
Applicants for the Research Associate post should have a master’s degree in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines or a good honours degree in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines with three or more years of research/relevant work experience.
Applicants for the Research Assistant post should have a bachelor’s degree in one of the afore-mentioned disciplines or an equivalent qualification.
Preference will be given to those with experience in local aquaculture or marine fieldwork.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment(s), a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment(s), the remuneration rates for the posts of Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Associate and Research Assistant are HK$385 per hour, HK$178 per hour and HK$125 per hour respectively.
