Project Assistant (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the projects - “Service leadership through serving children and families with special needs (Chengdu)” and “Evaluation of learning and teaching aspects on National Education”. They will be required to:
(a) provide assistance to the administration of the service-learning subject and National Education;
(b) assist in coordinating students’ services for adolescents and children with special needs in Chengdu;
(c) assist in conducting research and evaluative studies;
(d) conduct data collection and analysis;
(e) draft reports related to the projects; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.
The appointees may be required to occasionally work on irregular hours including weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, Public Health or other related disciplines;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
(d) have good interpersonal and organisational skills; and
(e) be a good team player and able to work independently.
Conditions of Service
