Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time)

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the project - “Enhancing knowledge and empathy among OT and PT undergraduates via a virtual reality-based and artificial intelligence-assisted mental health education programme”. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in recruitment of subjects, interviewing and conducting assessments at the University;
(b) organise virtual reality (VR)-based interventions for university students;
(c) perform data entry and analysis;
(d) prepare reports and edit materials; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Psychology, Counselling, Psychiatry, Public Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Education or a related discipline;
(b) have a good command of both written English and spoken Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;
(c) have good communication skills; and
(d) be sensible, empathetic and able to work independently and responsibly.
Preference will be given to those with background in VR as well as experience in education-related video shooting and working with patients with mental illness.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
