Part-time Postdoctoral Fellow

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Retinal ON-pathway stimulation during digital screen usage – a novel myopia treatment regimen”. He/She will be required to:
(a) develop and optimise protocols for visual stimulation and data acquisition, including the use of specialised software and hardware for retinal imaging and functional assessment;
(b) analyse and interpret experimental data using advanced statistical and image analysis tools, and prepare results for publication and presentation;
(c) collaborate with team members to integrate findings and advance the project objectives;
(d) prepare manuscripts and reports to disseminate research findings and support ongoing and future research initiatives; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a doctoral degree or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
(c) have good computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing;
(d) have good interpersonal, communication and task management skills;
(e) be a good team player and able to work independently; and
(f) be self-motivated and organised.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$385 per hour.
