Postdoctoral Fellow

[Appointment period: twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Advancing evidence-based practice in Hong Kong healthcare settings (PJTD)”.  The research group has extensive experience in evidence-based healthcare and strives to achieve impactful deliverables while publishing high-quality papers in top journals and conferences.  The appointee will be required to:

(a)    develop and conduct evidence synthesis according to Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) protocol;

(b)    develop and conduct evidence implementation according to JBI protocol;

(c)    write papers and proposals; and

(d)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should: 

(a)    have a doctoral degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;

(b)    have experience in writing research papers and proposals;

(c)    have good academic writing skills in English with publications in refereed journals;

(d)    have a strong enthusiasm in research and a good sense of self-motivation;

(e)    have good interpersonal and communication skills; and

(f)     be responsible and able to work independently.
