Part-time Research Assistant

Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “Precarious East Asia: Nonstandard employment and family inequality in China and Japan”. He/She will be required to:
(a) conduct literature review;
(b) assist in data management and analyses;
(c) assist in writing research reports and papers; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree in Social Sciences or an equivalent qualification;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Japanese;
(c) have experience in using Stata, R, Python or other statistical software;
(d) have good interpersonal and organisational skills; and
(e) be self-motivated and a good team player.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
