Assistant Officer (Temporary Appointment)

[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    support the administration of the undergraduate programmes, including matters related to student placements;

(b)    assist in the planning, organisation, and on-site management of departmental, marketing, and student development events and activities;

(c)    prepare marketing materials, social media content, and event communications; and

(d)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a)    a recognised degree with several years of relevant working experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;

(b)    good communication and interpersonal skills;

(c)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;

(d)    ability in organising and coordinating functions and events; and

(e)    good computer literacy and proficiency in common office software.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. 

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
