Part-time Project Associate (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the project - “A study of practice-based research in design discipline”. This project aims to explore how practice-based research (PBR) is carried out in design, with a focus on methodologies like artifact creation and interdisciplinary collaboration. To identify key challenges, including the systematic documentation of iterative processes and the validation of creative outputs as contributions to research, the appointees will be required to:
(a) conduct background study;
(b) conduct data collection and data analysis;
(c) assist in proposal writing for research grants;
(d) maintain documentation and prepare project reports; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or a good honours degree in the areas of design discipline with three or more years of research/relevant work experience;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English;
(c) have good organisational and communication skills; and
(d) be self-motivated and able to work independently.

Conditions of Service
The remuneration rate is HK$178 per hour.
