The Department of Biomedical Engineering offers interdisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supported with cutting-edge researches on rehabilitation engineering, biomedical imaging and biosensing, and biological engineering. Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) teach and contribute to curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Biomedical Engineering, particularly in sports engineering related subjects;
(b) supervise students’ final year projects;
(c) take part in the administration matters of the Unit; and
(d) perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a PhD degree in in the relevant discipline, or a relevant first degree plus a higher degree in the relevant discipline with at least three years of post-qualification teaching/professional/industrial experience;
(b) possess good subject knowledge, skills and competence of the discipline; and
(c) demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and competence in performing administrative duties related to teaching.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
