Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “PolyU-SCUT joint research centre for advanced and green composite materials”. He/she is required to develop structural energy storage devices with high capacity and good mechanical robustness (mechanical strength, Young’s modulus, and fracture toughness), as well as long-term durability to achieve an overall saving in mass or weight.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a doctoral degree in Materials Science, Engineering or a related field;
(b) no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application;
(c) good communication and writing skills,
(d) demonstrated potential of research independence and creativity; and
(e) a proven track record of publications in the related field.
Preference will be given to those with experience in structural energy storage devices or electrochemical energy storage devices.
