Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project - “Research on the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying the integration process of speech cues”. They will be required to:
(a) recruit participants and conduct behavioural, EEG, or fMRI experiments;
(b) assist in data analysis;
(c) conduct comprehensive literature reviews;
(d) contribute to the writing and publication of scientific papers; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have an honours degree or an equivalent qualification in Linguistics or a related field;
(b) demonstrate high proficiency in spoken and written English;
(c) demonstrate native or near-native proficiency in Putonghua or Cantonese;
(d) possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
(e) preferably possess experience in writing academic papers; and
(f) preferably have prior experience with EEG or other neuroimaging methods, as well as proficiency in E-Prime or MATLAB.

Conditions of Service
For full-time appointment, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointment, the remuneration rate is HK$125 per hour.
