Duties
The appointees will assist the project leader in the research project – “AI-powered smart guide assistant for the visual impaired”.
For the Postdoctoral Fellow posts, the appointees will be required to lead the research and assist in project coordination for visually impaired guidance.
For the Research Associate posts, the appointees will be required to involve for the post-training large language models for visually impaired guidance.
For the Research Assistant posts, the appointees will be required to involve for the data collection, processing and annotation for visually impaired guidance.
For all posts, the appointees will also be required to perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader, the Head of Unit or their delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants for the Postdoctoral Fellow posts should have a PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics and Communication, Psychology, Social Science, Humanity or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification and must have no more than five years of post-qualification experience at the time of application. Preference will be given to those with research experience in AI trustworthiness and safety.
Applicants for the Research Associate posts should have a master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Applicants for the Research Assistant posts should have an honours degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification.
