Executive Assistant

Duties 

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    provide administrative support to academic programmes, including but not limited to admission exercise, class time-tabling and subject registration; 

(b)    manage procurement, payment and claim processing;

(c)    assist in events/activities organized by the Unit;

(d)    compile statistical reports and maintain databases for the Unit;

(e)    assist in the administration and daily operation of the General Office such as counter service;

(f)    handle enquiries from staff, students and relevant stakeholders; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Unit or his delegates. 

Qualifications 

Applicants should: 

(a)    have a recognised degree, preferably with some relevant working experience in accounting or financial processing; 

(b)    have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably with fluency in Putonghua;

(c)    be well-organized and attentive to details;

(d)    be dynamic and have a strong sense of responsibility and commitment;

(e)    have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;

(f)    be able to work independently and proactively; and

(g)    be able to work under pressure and within a tight schedule;

Preference may be given to those with experience gained in tertiary institutions or similar organizations.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
