Assistant Officer

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    support the planning and coordination of the events for global engagement and student recruitment initiatives;

(b)    assist in programme admission and administration matters;

(c)    support quality assurance and professional accreditation matters;

(d)    provide administrative support to office events, meetings and management;

(e)    liaise with University's internal and external stakeholders; and

(f)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of Faculty, Faculty Secretary or their delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a)    a recognised degree; 

(b)    at least two years of solid post-qualification administrative experience;

(c)    the ability to work proactively and independently within a team, balance multiple priorities and meet tight timelines;

(d)    an open-minded working attitude as well as exceptional analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills;

(e)    good problem-solving skills and computer literacy, including Chinese word processing, PowerPoint and Excel; and

(f)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
