Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a)    assist the Executive Vice President in developing initiatives and programmes for internal and external engagement that contribute to the achievement of University’s objectives and goals;

(b)    coordinate with the units concerned as well as internal and external stakeholders to implement the initiatives for developing on-going engagement;

(c)    review engagement fundraising, philanthropic collaterals, proposals and presentation materials;

(d)    review and monitor work plans/progress and budget of the units concerned for internal and external engagement;  

(e)    coordinate with internal units and external parties in relation to institutional advancement programmes and initiatives for engagement and branding;

(f)    provide effective secretarial support to the committees and meetings; and

(g)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President or her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a)    have a recognised degree in a relevant discipline;

(b)    possess at least eight years’ solid working experience;

(c)    have strong administration as well as partnership engagement and communication skills;

(d)    have excellent writing skills in both English and Chinese; with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(e)    have excellent organisational and presentation skills; and 

(f)    be systematic, detail-oriented, proactive, flexible and agile.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. 

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
