Full-time / Part-time Project Officer / Senior Alumni Affairs Assistant (Temporary Appointment) (two posts)

Duties
The appointees will be required to:
(a) provide administrative, marketing and logistical support to projects, events and services of the Office;
(b) assist in the preparation and execution of alumni activities, engagement programmes and University events;
(c) handle the operation, booking and maintenance of the Alumni Atrium;
(d) liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders;
(e) assist in the preparation and production of promotion and marketing materials, as well as publications;
(f) maintain and update websites, social media platforms and other electronic channels; and
(g) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office and her designate(s).
The appointees may be required to work beyond or outside normal office hours for the purpose of providing support for activities/projects.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree, with at least three years’ relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in event management, communication and/or marketing;
(b) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;
(c) have a sound knowledge of computer software applications, preferably with knowledge of and experience in MS Office applications, webpage production and social media;
(d) have good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills;
(e) have good interpersonal and communication skills;
(f) have good teamwork and be able to complete tasks independently; and
(g) be attentive to details and able to meet tight deadlines.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Senior Alumni Affairs Assistant.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.
Conditions of Service
For full-time appointments, a highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.
For part-time appointments, the remuneration rates for the posts of Project Officer and Senior Alumni Affairs Assistant are HK$160 and HK$120 per hour respectively.
