Programme Manager

Duties 

The appointee will be required to: 

(a)    provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth running of academic programmes at postgraduate level including student admission, budget and costing management, timetabling, staffing arrangement, collection of student feedback, etc.;

(b)    compile statistical and financial reports for curriculum and resources planning;

(c)    assist in preparing programme related reports for various exercises;

(d)    assist in subject arrangement;

(e)    provide secretarial support to the departmental committees and working groups;

(f)    liaise with academic and industry partners and assist in preparing collaboration agreements and relevant documents;

(g)    liaise with internal and external parties to initiate, coordinate and organise student learning activities and departmental events, including conferences; and

(h)    perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School or his delegates.

Qualifications 

Applicants should have: 

(a)    a recognised degree;

(b)    at least five years of programme and related administrative experience at supervisory level, preferably gained in tertiary education sector;

(c)    a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage;

(d)    good communication and interpersonal skills;

(e)    strong analytical ability; and

(f)    good supervisory, liaison and organisational skills.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test.

Conditions of Service

A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered.  Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract.  Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
