Duties
The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project - “The analysis of oral microbiome and its applications to the oral health”.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a master’s degree or above in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics or Biochemistry or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification; and
(b) be familiar with laboratory techniques for bacteria culture, DNA/RNA extraction, protein and metabolite extraction.
Preference will be given to those with experience in (i) microbiome analysis, including the use of relevant techniques and tools; (ii) bioinformatics analysis; and/or (iii) oral microbiome research or oral health-related studies.
